Wadada Meets Former APC Aspirants, Seeks Unity Ahead of Nasarawa Governorship Race

The senator representing Nasarawa West Senatorial District, Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, has met with former aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Nasarawa South Senatorial District as part of efforts to foster unity and strengthen the party ahead of the next governorship election.
The meeting, held in a cordial atmosphere, brought together former APC aspirants, party leaders and key stakeholders from the zone to discuss strategies for promoting cohesion and ensuring the party remains united.
Addressing the gathering, Senator Wadada appreciated the former aspirants for their loyalty and commitment to the APC, while appealing for their support and cooperation in his governorship aspiration.
He stressed that unity remains the foundation of electoral success, urging party members to set aside personal differences and work collectively in the interest of the party and the development of Nasarawa State.
In their separate remarks, the former aspirants commended the senator's inclusive approach and pledged their support, expressing confidence in his leadership and ability to lead the party successfully in future elections.
The interface was attended by prominent APC leaders and stakeholders from Nasarawa South, underscoring the growing efforts to consolidate support and promote internal harmony within the party ahead of the 2027 political season.
