Former Nasarawa Speaker Balarabe Condoles Hon. Omadefu Over Sister's Death
Prays for Allah's mercy on late Asma'u Omadefu, urges family to remain steadfast

The Immediate Past Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly and Chairman, Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic, Damaturu, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, has paid a condolence visit to the member representing Keana Constituency in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Muhammed Adamu Omadefu, following the death of his younger sister, Asma'u Adamu Omadefu.
Balarabe visited the bereaved lawmaker at his family residence in Lafia on Friday, where he expressed deep sympathy over the loss and prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased's shortcomings, grant her Aljannatul Firdaus, and give the family the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
The former Speaker described the death as painful and urged the family to remain steadfast in faith, noting that death is an inevitable part of life.
Responding, Hon. Muhammed Adamu Omadefu appreciated Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi and his entourage for standing by him and his family during their moment of grief.
He disclosed that the late Asma'u Adamu Omadefu, popularly known as Ajima, was the youngest child in the family. According to him, she was born on a Friday and passed away on a Friday after a prolonged illness.
The condolence visit was attended by former member representing Toto/Gadabuke Constituency, Hon. Usman Labaran Shafa, the Special Adviser to the Nasarawa State Governor, Alhaji Muhammed Usman, and other associates of the former Speaker.
