The event was held at the Nasarawa State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board premises and marked the official send-off of pilgrims selected for the spiritual exercise.
Governor Abdullahi Sule was represented at the ceremony by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Barrister Labaran Shuaibu Magaji, SAN, PhD, who delivered the Governor’s goodwill message to the pilgrims.

While speaking to his press crew, Barrister Isaac Danladi described the pilgrimage as a sacred journey and urged the pilgrims to conduct themselves with discipline, humility, and respect, noting that they are ambassadors of Nasarawa State and Nigeria in the Holy Land.

He also encouraged them to use the opportunity to pray for peace, unity, and sustained development in the state and the country.

In his address, the SSG charged the pilgrims to remain law-abiding and prayerful throughout their stay in Israel, stressing that their conduct would reflect the image of the state.

Officials of the Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board appreciated the state government for its continuous support and assured that all necessary arrangements had been concluded to ensure a smooth and successful pilgrimage.
