Ex-Nasarawa Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi Hails Tinubu, Sule Over Renewed Hope Appointment
Assures APC of Massive Grassroots Mobilisation, Party Victory in 2027

The Immediate Past Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Abdullahi Sule following his appointment as Zonal Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Initiative for Nasarawa West.
Balarabe Abdullahi, who also serves as Chairman of the Governing Council, Federal Polytechnic, Damaturu, Yobe State, expressed profound appreciation to President Tinubu for the confidence reposed in him, while thanking Governor Sule for nominating him for the strategic assignment.
In a statement personally signed and made available to newsmen in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital, on Wednesday, the former Speaker assured both leaders that he would justify the trust placed in him through dedicated service and effective mobilisation.
He described the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a party to beat ahead of the 2027 general elections, pledging to deploy his experience and political network to galvanise massive grassroots support for the party’s victory at all levels.
According to him, he would work closely with his team to strengthen party structures and sustain aggressive mobilisation across communities in Nasarawa West to ensure electoral success.
“I want to sincerely and wholeheartedly appreciate our Governor, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, who nominated me for the job. I assure him and Mr President that I will do my best and will not let them down,” he said.
Balarabe Abdullahi further called on his supporters and APC members to remain calm, resolute and committed to party ideals, urging them to stay focused and loyal to constituted authorities.
He also appealed to the people of Nasarawa State to continue to appreciate and support Governor Sule’s administration, noting the visible strides in governance and development across various sectors of the state.
