The Nasarawa State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Isaac Danladi, on Thursday represented Governor Abdullahi A. Sule at the sendforth prayers organised for Cynthia (Jennifer Farida Mentau), daughter of the Executive Secretary, Christian Pilgrim Welfare Board, Dr. Alfa Yusufu Tsenya, in Akwanga.
The event, held at Dr. Alfa’s residence behind Kini Country Guest Inn, drew family members, friends, government officials and well-wishers who gathered to pray and extend goodwill to the celebrant as she embarks on a new phase of life.
Barr. Danladi, standing in for Governor Sule, conveyed the administration’s best wishes to the family.
He congratulated and commended Dr. Alfa for raising up his daughter in the way of the Lord as well his service to the state, especially in strengthening the Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board.
He further prayed for God’s guidance and protection for Cynthia in her future endeavours.
He congratulated Cynthia on her forthcoming wedding and admonished her to be submissive, love, honour her
husband so that her marriage will be blessed.
He also urged families, friends, relatives and well wishers to continue to pray for the bride to be for a successful marriage.
