Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has once again reaffirmed his commitment to educational development through deliberate investments aimed at empowering young citizens with knowledge and opportunity.

Recently, the Governor approved the sponsorship of 20 indigenes of the state to Azman University, Kano, and another 15 students to Mewar International University, Masaka, in Karu Local Government Area.

Each of the Mewar University beneficiaries also received a ₦200,000 meal allowance, a gesture that reflects the administration’s genuine concern for students’ welfare and comfort while pursuing their studies.

In a similar move, Governor Sule has brought smiles to the faces of law students by approving a 100 percent increment in their bursary allowance, from ₦300,000 to ₦600,000.

This decision demonstrates the Governor’s continued support for academic excellence, particularly in fields critical to the state’s legal and socio-economic development.

Some of the beneficiaries who spoke with our correspondent expressed deep gratitude to Governor Sule for his magnanimity and vision.

They pledged not to let him or the state down, promising to justify the confidence reposed in them by remaining focused, disciplined, and committed to excellence.

Governor Sule’s continued educational interventions stand as a testament to his belief that education remains the bedrock of development.

His efforts are not only transforming individual lives but are also laying a solid foundation for a more prosperous and self-reliant Nasarawa State.
