The Nasarawa State Honorable Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Isaac Danladi, has attended the magazine launching ceremony organized by the National Council for Women Societies (NCWS), Nasarawa State Chapter.
The event, held at the Lafia City Hall along Shendam Road in the heart of the state capital, featured the unveiling of the Council’s maiden magazine titled “The Solid Woman.” The publication, with the theme “Nasarawa Women in the Period of Firsts,” celebrates the resilience, achievements, and transformative roles of women across the state in various sectors of development.
In his goodwill message delivered during the occasion, Barr. Danladi commended the NCWS for its tireless efforts in promoting the welfare, rights, and empowerment of women.
He lauded the association for sustaining impactful initiatives that continue to inspire progress in gender advocacy and community development.
The Attorney General assured the women group of his continued partnership and support, emphasizing his belief in fairness, justice, and inclusiveness.
“As the Attorney General, I am He for She and for all,” he declared, reaffirming his commitment to advancing gender equality and creating an enabling environment for women to thrive in Nasarawa State.
Barr. Danladi further stated that women have been given priority in the administration of Governor Abdullahi Sule, noting that the Governor’s inclusive approach has empowered many women to contribute meaningfully to governance and leadership in the state.
He expressed optimism that Governor Sule will continue to provide even more opportunities for women to prove their capacity and leadership in the affairs of the state.
