The Nasarawa State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Isaac Danladi, has extended heartfelt condolences to two members of staff of the Ministry of Justice who recently lost close family members.
A delegation from the Ministry, led by the Director of Administration and Supplies, Alhaji Suleiman Akwe Mohammed, visited the bereaved families in Keffi and Karu Local Government Areas to deliver the Attorney General’s message of sympathy and support.
In Keffi, the team paid a condolence visit to Mr. Yunusa Talle Dan’Sauka over the death of his young son.
The delegation offered prayers for the peaceful repose of the departed soul and comforted the grieving family.
While addressing the family, Barr. Isaac Danladi, through his representative, urged them to see the death as an act of God, encouraging them to find strength in faith during their difficult time.
Responding, Alhaji Jafaru Sule, grandfather of the deceased, expressed deep appreciation to the Attorney General and the Ministry’s staff, describing the visit as a profound gesture of unity and compassion.
In Karu, the delegation extended similar condolences to Miss Zhiwomi Iyakwari, Personal Assistant to the Attorney General, who lost her mother, Mrs. Martha Philip Iyakwari, a retired Permanent Secretary in the Nasarawa State Civil Service.
During the visit, prayers were also offered for the repose of the late Mrs. Iyakwari’s soul.
In an emotional response, her husband, Mr. Iyakwari, thanked the delegation on behalf of the family and praised the Attorney General for his thoughtfulness and leadership.
He described the visit as consoling and reflective of the humane spirit that defines the Ministry.
The Ministry of Justice reiterated its commitment to supporting its staff through all seasons, praying that God grants the departed eternal rest and the bereaved families the strength to carry on.
