Hon. Shuaibu Guri Officially Declares Nalaraba Winner at Collation Centre
Hon. Abubakar Hassan Nalaraba has emerged victorious in the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial primary election for Nasarawa South Senatorial District after defeating his closest rival, Akabe, with a wide margin.
Announcing the result at the official collation centre, the Chairman of the Election Committee for the Nasarawa South Senatorial APC primaries,
Hon. Shuaibu Guri, declared Nalaraba winner in accordance with the party’s constitution and electoral guidelines.
According to the results announced, Hon. Abubakar Hassan Nalaraba secured a total of 48,452 votes to defeat Akabe, who garnered 32,881 votes.
The declaration officially confirms Nalaraba as the APC flag bearer for the Nasarawa South Senatorial District ahead of the forthcoming general election.
Party supporters and stakeholders at the venue applauded the peaceful conduct of the exercise, describing the outcome as a reflection of the confidence reposed in the candidate by party delegates and members across the district.
