Cabinet Reshuffle: Six Commissioners Exit Nasarawa Executive Council

Governor Abdullahi A. Sule of Nasarawa State has approved the removal of six commissioners from the State Executive Council as part of efforts to reposition the administration for improved service delivery and accelerated socio-economic development.

The announcement was contained in a public statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Shuaibu Magaji Labaran, SAN, and dated 22nd July, 2026.

According to the statement, the affected commissioners are:

Mu'azu Adamu Gosho – Ministry of Works, Housing and Transport.

Gabriel A. Agbashi – Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.

CP. Usman Isa Baba (Rtd.) – Ministry of Special Duties, Security Affairs.
David Sule Moyi, Esq. – Ministry of Lands and Urban Development.
Dr. Ibrahim Tanko – Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism.

Hauwa Samuel Jugbo,  Ministry of Women Affairs and Humanitarian Services.
The SSG directed all affected commissioners to immediately hand over the affairs of their respective ministries to the Permanent Secretaries pending further directives.

The statement noted that the decision was in furtherance of the administration's commitment to reinvigorating governance and enhancing the performance of the public service for the socio-economic development of Nasarawa State.

Governor Sule expressed appreciation to the former commissioners for their contributions to the development of the state and wished them success in their future endeavours.
