Former Speaker Balarabe Pays Condolence Visit to Speaker Danladi Jatau Over Sister’s Demise

The Immediate Past Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly and current Chairman of the Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, has paid a condolence visit to his successor, Rt. Hon. Dr. Danladi Jatau, over the death of his younger sister, Hajaratu.

Balarabe Abdullahi visited Speaker Jatau at his residence in Project Quarters, Shendam Road, Lafia, where he expressed his heartfelt sympathy over the painful loss.

He described the death of Hajaratu as a deeply saddening event and reminded the bereaved family that death is a necessary end for all mortals.

He urged Speaker Jatau to accept the loss as the will of God and continue to pray for the peaceful repose of her soul.

“It is a painful reality, but as believers, we must submit to the will of the Almighty. I came here to sympathize with my brother and colleague during this difficult time,” Balarabe said.

In his response, Speaker of the 7th Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Danladi Jatau, expressed profound gratitude to his predecessor for the visit, describing it as a gesture of true brotherhood and solidarity.

He noted that the visit had brought comfort to him and his family and prayed that God would abundantly reward Balarabe Abdullahi and members of his delegation for standing by him during their moment of grief.
