The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Nasarawa State, Hon. Barr. Isaac Danladi, received a warm reception from the Kwara sports community during his visit to Ilorin for the meeting of Attorneys-General from the North Central Zone, convened under the auspices of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).
Barr. Danladi, a retired Permanent Secretary in the Nasarawa State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, and a former Chairman of both Nasarawa United FC and the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Club Owners' Association, was honoured in a surprise reception organized by the former Executive Secretary of the NPFL Club Owners’ Association, Chief Alloy Chukwuemeka (Nwachigoziri 1).
The event brought together members of the sports fraternity in Kwara State, led by Tunde Kazeem, former Director of Sports in Kwara State and current Technical Director of the Badminton Federation of Nigeria. Kazeem, who also once served as Chairman of the States’ Directors of Sports in Nigeria, joined other sports stakeholders in celebrating Barr. Danladi’s enduring contributions to sports development and public service.
The reception served as a reunion of sorts for key figures in Nigerian sports administration and a testament to Barr. Danladi’s lasting impact on sports governance and leadership beyond his current role in justice administration.
