In line with its avowed commitment towards hosting a professionally coordinated and hitch-free tournament, the organisers of the 19th edition of the prestigeous Lagos Supremacy Cup, have sent out messages to participating teams on the needs to have the matches played strictly according to the planned schedules and fixtures.
According to Hajji Gafar Liameed, the Chief Convener of the eagerly anticipated tournament, matches would be played for 30 minutes in each half, as there would be no half-time breaks, as the game continues with both sides, only swapping halves.
"We're concerned about keeping strictly to the scheduled timelines. Everything about this tournament is aimed at achieving core discipline by teams and officials, before, during and after the matches," he explained.
