The Chairman of Lagos State Football Association, Hajji Gafar Liameed, has congratulated the President of Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau on his election as the 1st Vice-President of the West African Football Union (WAFU) B Zone.
In his message, Liameed described Gusau's election as well-deserved. And a testament to his astuteness and resourcefulness.
" This is indeed, a well-deserved feather on his decorated cap. We're proud of him and the feats he has achieved so far, as the NFF President.
"We believe in his leadership qualities, as well as, his abilities to lead Nigeria football to greater heights," he stated.
"On behalf of the board of Lagos FA and the entire stakeholders, I say, a big congratulations to Alhaji Gusau. And I pray that this honour, marks the beginning of better fortunes for Nigerian football," he added.
