Youth Coalition Endorses Nasarawa Deputy Governor Akabe for Senate Bid

A coalition of youth groups from Nasarawa South Senatorial District has declared its support for the senatorial ambition of the Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Dr. Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe.
The endorsement was announced on Thursday in Lafia, where the coalition said its decision followed extensive consultations and careful assessment of Akabe’s leadership qualities.
Speaking on behalf of the group, its leader, Comrade Abimiku Dengana, described the endorsement as a reflection of the collective aspirations of youths across the district.
“Our decision is not merely a political statement, but a reflection of the desire for visionary leadership, sustainable development, and effective representation.
We believe Dr. Akabe possesses the qualities required to take Nasarawa South to greater heights,” Dengana stated.
The coalition emphasized that its support was rooted in Akabe’s track record, citing his administrative competence, intellectual capacity, and commitment to public service.
According to the group, the Deputy Governor has consistently demonstrated the ability to address the socio-economic challenges facing communities within the district.
They further noted that Akabe’s contributions to the development of Nasarawa South are tangible and impactful, positioning him as a strong contender ahead of other aspirants.
Highlighting his advocacy for grassroots development, the group said Akabe understands the unique needs of the people and has shown the political will to deliver meaningful progress.
The coalition also announced plans to embark on a sensitization and mobilization tour across the five local government areas in the senatorial district—Awe, Doma, Obi, Keana, and Lafia—to galvanize support for his candidacy ahead of the 2027 general elections.
They called on residents of Nasarawa South to rally behind the Deputy Governor, expressing confidence that his leadership would bring accelerated growth and effective representation to the district.
