A new political movement, the Allied Conservative Congress (ACC), has emerged on Nigeria's political landscape as the country gears up for the 2027 general elections.

In a statement released by the National Publicity Secretary of the ACC, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq, the movement pledged to guide Nigeria towards a prosperous future under its conservative ideology.

The ACC aims to rectify the neglect of the 1999 Constitution by past and present governments since the return of democracy in Nigeria.

Sadiq announced that the ACC has launched a nationwide campaign, with prominent conservative figures convening to chart a new course for the nation.

He emphasized that the ACC's leaders and members are individuals of honor, integrity, and probity, dedicated to restoring sanity, morality, honesty, national cohesion, unity, and patriotism in Nigeria. The movement promises inclusivity, offering equal stake to all Nigerians, regardless of ethnicity, religion, or gender.

The ACC's flag features three equal-sized vertical curved stripes: green representing agriculture, white for peace, and purple for strength, with the movement’s logo in the white section.

The logo includes a map of Nigeria edged in purple with a brown canoe, symbolizing the movement's mission to steer Nigerians toward a brighter future.

The abbreviation "ACC" and the slogan "Forever Great" appear in purple, while the full name, Allied Conservative Congress, is displayed in green and purple above the map.

As a conservative political movement, the ACC will advocate for a national policy rooted in social justice, rule of law, freedom, equality, human dignity, fiscal responsibility, and the overall peace and progress of the Nigerian people.
