The Muslim Lawyers’ Association of Nigeria (MULAN), Nasarawa State Branch, has appointed His Royal Highness, Justice Lawal Nagogo (Rtd), Oriye Rindre, as its Patron.

The appointment was formally presented by the State Chairman of the association, Hon. Bala Ibrahim Danja, during a ceremony held at the royal palace of the Oriye Rindre in Wamba, headquarters of Wamba Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

Presenting the letter of appointment, Hon. Danja said the decision was taken in recognition of the retired Justice's distinguished service to the judiciary, exemplary leadership and invaluable contributions to the promotion of justice, peace and community development.

He commended the royal father for his fatherly role, wise counsel and unwavering commitment to the advancement of the legal profession, expressing confidence that his wealth of experience would greatly benefit the association.
The event was witnessed by the Secretary of the Branch, Barr. Aminat Abdullahi Olotu, alongside other executive officers and members of the association.

Responding, His Royal Highness, Justice Lawal Nagogo (Rtd), Oriye Rindre, expressed gratitude to the association for finding him worthy of the honour.

He described the appointment as a call to greater service and pledged to support the association in advancing justice, professional ethics, mentorship and the rule of law. 

He also urged members of the association to remain committed to integrity, fairness and diligence in the discharge of their professional responsibilities while contributing positively to national development and to the Muslim community in general.
