FIDA Honours Nasarawa Attorney General, Appoints Him Patron

The Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), Nasarawa State Branch, has formally appointed the Nasarawa State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Isaac Danladi, as its Patron and presented him with an Award of Excellence in recognition of his unwavering support for the association and humanitarian services.
The honour was conferred during a colourful courtesy visit by the FIDA State Chairperson, Barr. Halima Hudu Abubakar, alongside members of the State Executive Council, to the office of the Attorney General at the Ministry of Justice in Lafia.
Presenting the award and the letter of appointment as Patron, Barr. Halima Hudu Abubakar commended Barr. Danladi for his exceptional support to FIDA and his commitment to promoting justice, especially for women, children and other vulnerable persons.
She noted that his compassionate interventions had brought relief to many families and orphaned children across the state, adding that the honour was in appreciation of his invaluable contributions to the growth and development of FIDA as well as his dedication to the protection of human rights.
Responding, Barr. Isaac Danladi expressed gratitude to FIDA for the award and the appointment, describing the gesture as a call to greater service.
He said he had been following the activities of the association with keen interest and commended its leadership for its commitment to advancing the cause of justice and protecting the rights of women and children.
The Attorney General pledged to continue deepening the relationship between the Ministry of Justice and FIDA to strengthen access to justice and legal protection for vulnerable members of society.
He also urged members of the association to continue supporting the present leadership of FIDA to enable it achieve greater success and deliver more benefits to its members and the people of Nasarawa State.
