Hon. Jibrin Isa Maiwada Dies After Brief Illness, Buried According to Islamic Rites

The Executive Chairman of Toto Local Government Area, Pharm. Ahmed Baba Yahaya, has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the death of the Administrator of Gadabuke Area Administrative Council, Hon. Jibrin Isa Maiwada.
The late Administrator reportedly passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026, following a brief illness and was laid to rest in accordance with Islamic rites.
In a condolence visit to Gadabuke, the headquarters of the Area Administrative Council, the Toto LG Chairman sympathised with the first-class traditional ruler of the area, the Gomo Babye, HRH Alhaji Aminu Suleiman, as well as the bereaved family and the entire people of Gadabuke over the painful loss.
Pharm. Ahmed Baba Yahaya described the late Maiwada as a committed and dedicated administrator whose contributions to the development of Gadabuke would be greatly missed.
Meanwhile, a three-day prayer (Fidau) for the repose of the deceased has been scheduled to hold on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Gadabuke by 9:00 a.m., with family members, associates, and well-wishers expected to attend.
