Manunama Sickle Cell Foundation Launches ‘Ramadan Warrior Package’ to Support Patients in Lafia
Charity initiative scheduled for March 18 to provide Sadaqa support to individuals living with sickle cell during the holy month of Ramadan.
The Manunama Sickle Cell Foundation has announced plans to distribute a special humanitarian support package tagged “Ramadan Warrior Package – Sadaqa” aimed at assisting individuals living with sickle cell disorder during the holy month of Ramadan.
The foundation disclosed that the charitable outreach will take place on Wednesday, March 18, at Maidunama’s Compound, opposite Stadium Junction, Lafia, Nasarawa State, beginning from 2:00 pm.
According to the organisers, the initiative is designed to provide relief and encouragement to sickle cell warriors and their families by offering charitable donations and support as part of Ramadan’s spirit of compassion, generosity, and community service.
The programme is expected to bring together beneficiaries, volunteers, and well-wishers who share the vision of supporting people living with sickle cell disease while promoting awareness about the condition.
The foundation urged members of the public and philanthropists to support the initiative, stressing that acts of Sadaqa during Ramadan remain an important means of assisting vulnerable members of society.
