Hon. Abdullahi Dahiru Angibi, former Member representing Lafia Central Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident that claimed the lives of several sons and daughters of the Eggon nation.
In a heartfelt condolence message, the ex-lawmaker commiserated with the Aren Eggon, Justice Ahmed Ubangari (Rtd), the families of the victims, and the entire Eggon nation, describing the tragedy as a devastating and irreparable loss not only to the affected families but to Nasarawa State as a whole.
He noted that the Eggon nation is renowned for its resilience, unity, and rich cultural heritage, adding that the loss of promising lives under such unfortunate circumstances is deeply painful. Hon. Angibi prayed for the peaceful repose of the souls of the departed and asked Almighty God to grant quick recovery to those who sustained injuries.
The former lawmaker further urged calm, unity, and solidarity among the people, calling on community leaders and relevant authorities to take proactive measures to prevent a recurrence of such tragic incidents, while offering words of comfort and strength to the bereaved families and the entire Eggon nation during this period of mourning.
