The National APC Christian Leader Forum of Nigeria (NACLFON), Nasarawa State chapter, has paid a familiarisation visit to the Nasarawa State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Isaac Danladi, in his office at Justice House, Lafia.
Speaking during the visit, the State Coordinator of NACLFON, Hon. Johnson Ivarave, said the forum deemed it necessary to officially intimate the Attorney General with the existence and activities of the association in the state.
Hon. Ivarave explained that the primary objective of NACLFON is to mobilise and sensitise Christians across Nigeria in support of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid, stressing that the group is committed to correcting the misconception that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is “a party for Muslims.”
According to him, the organisation will embark on statewide engagements, reaching churches, communities, and political stakeholders to ensure Christians are properly informed about the inclusive nature of the APC and the developmental strides of President Tinubu.
He also disclosed that NACLFON was preparing to host its North Central Zonal Meeting in Lafia soon, noting that part of the purpose of the visit was to notify the Attorney General of their intention to present him with an award during the event, alongside other selected honourees.

Barr. Isaac Danladi commended the association for taking what he described as “a right step at the right time,” noting that their advocacy aligns with the political maturity required for national unity.
He reaffirmed that religion-based politics has no place in Nasarawa State, insisting that the people of the state have consistently embraced peaceful coexistence and mutual respect regardless of religion.
He emphasised that Governor Abdullahi Sule and his administration have always given listening ears to every religious group, ensuring fairness, inclusion, and equal opportunity in governance.
According to him, the development of Nasarawa State stands above any religious divide, and the government will continue to prioritise initiatives that foster unity and collective progress.
Barr. Danladi further encouraged the group to intensify its enlightenment campaigns, stressing that divisive narratives must be countered with facts, inclusivity, and responsible political engagement for the benefit of the state and the nation.
