The leadership of the Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) Alumni Association has intensified consultations with its members across the country to mobilize support and raise funds for the completion of its ongoing secretariat project.

President of the Association, Barr. Nuhu John Egya, disclosed this during a solidarity visit to one of the university’s distinguished alumni and the Protocol Liaison Officer to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Ambassador Yakubu Musa, in Abuja on Saturday.

Barr. Egya, who led members of his executive and other stakeholders, explained that the new leadership is determined to attract meaningful development projects to the university.

He appealed to all members, especially those occupying key positions in society, to contribute towards achieving the Association’s vision.

He emphasized that completing the Alumni Secretariat remains a top priority, as it would serve as a befitting administrative hub and a unifying point for members whenever they visit the campus.

While commending Ambassador Musa for being a worthy ambassador of the university at the nation’s seat of power, Barr. Egya urged him to continue supporting the institution that helped shape his academic and professional journey.

He called on other well-placed alumni across the globe to emulate the spirit of giving back to their alma mater.

During the visit, the delegation presented an Award of Excellence to Ambassador Musa in recognition of his loyalty, dedication, and outstanding service, which earned him his current position in the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Responding, Amb. Yakubu Musa expressed delight over the visit, describing it as highly encouraging.

He pledged to support the completion of the secretariat project and to continue working closely with the Alumni leadership to foster the university’s development.

In his remarks, the Chairman, Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Association, Comrade Abah John Michael, praised Ambassador Musa for his accessibility and humility, assuring him of the Association’s total support for the Tinubu-led administration beyond 2027.

The statement was signed by God’spower Ede, National Public Relations Officer, Nasarawa State University Alumni Association.
