The Nasarawa State Government has announced a revised school calendar for the first term of the 2025/2026 academic session, directing all public and private schools to conclude activities by Friday, December 5, 2025.
The announcement was contained in a circular issued by the Ministry of Education, dated November 25, 2025, and addressed to Chief Evaluation Officers and Principals across the state.
According to the updated schedule, revision will now run from November 26 to November 29, 2025, while first-term examinations are slated for December 1–5, 2025. Schools are expected to officially close on Friday, December 5.
The circular further instructs schools to ensure that all examinations are completed by 12:00 noon on the closing day.
Parents and guardians have also been advised to arrange for their children and wards to return home immediately after the exams.
Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mohammed Sani Bala, who signed the circular on behalf of the Honourable Commissioner, emphasized strict compliance.
