The Nasarawa State Honorable Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Isaac Danladi, today received the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of City FC Abuja, Chief Chidi Emmanuel Okonkwo, who paid him a courtesy visit ahead of the club’s opening fixture in the 2025 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
During the meeting at the Attorney General’s office in Lafia, Chief Okonkwo presented the club’s official replica jersey and a souvenir to Barr. Danladi.
He stated that the visit was meant to strengthen collaboration and to appreciate the Attorney General’s consistent support for youth development and sports advancement within the state.
Chief Okonkwo reiterated City FC Abuja’s resolve to build a highly competitive team committed to professionalism, talent development, and community engagement.
He emphasized that football remains a powerful tool for empowering young people and promoting unity.
