The Nasarawa State Committee on Gratuity Disbursement has lauded Governor Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule for his consistent commitment to the welfare of retirees following the release of ₦300 million for the third quarter gratuity payment to both state and local government retirees.
The commendation was made during the committee’s third quarterly meeting held in Lafia under the policy guidance of the Deputy Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe, who provides leadership oversight for the gratuity implementation framework in the state.
The meeting was chaired by the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Isaac Danladi, who also serves as Co-Chairman of the Committee.
In his remarks, Barr. Danladi applauded Governor Abdullahi Sule for his steadfastness and sincerity of purpose in fulfilling promises to retirees, describing the third-quarter release of ₦300 million as timely, humane, and commendable.
“Governor Abdullahi Sule has once again demonstrated his uncommon commitment to the welfare of our senior citizens by ensuring prompt release of gratuity funds. This is a reflection of leadership rooted in compassion and accountability,” he stated.
The committee also expressed appreciation to Governor Sule for sustaining the gratuity payment schedule and for progressively clearing long-standing arrears.
