Senior Special Assistant to Governor Abdullahi Sule on Public Affairs, Hon. Peter Ahemba, has briefed journalists on behalf of the Nasarawa State Government, commending citizens for their peaceful conduct during the recent visit of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the state.

Speaking at the monthly press briefing held at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Press Centre in Lafia, Ahemba described the president’s visit as a landmark moment for the administration and people of Nasarawa State.

He acknowledged the exemplary behavior of residents before, during, and after the high-profile visit.

Hon. Ahemba highlighted key projects commissioned by President Tinubu during his visit, notably the Lafia-Shendam Road expansion, which spans from the Total Filling Station junction to the Nasarawa State House of Assembly complex.

He emphasized that the road project is fully executed by Governor Sule’s administration.

Also commissioned was the newly constructed multi-billion-naira Nasarawa State Secretariat Complex, which the SSA described as the most modern and well-equipped in the North Central region, and possibly beyond.

The president, he said, was visibly impressed by both the architectural brilliance and the administrative foresight behind the project.

He noted that the secretariat strategically houses the Office of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), the Head of Service, the Executive Council chamber, and judicial institutions, making it a functional hub for the three arms of government.

According to Ahemba, the project reflects the governor’s visionary leadership and commitment to strengthening governance, administrative convenience, and service delivery.

The SSA assured citizens of the government's continued dedication to infrastructural development and urged the public to maintain their support for Governor Sule’s transformative agenda.
