Today July 7, 2025, Barrister Isaac Ahmadu Danladi, the Honourable Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Nasarawa State, clocks 60 years, a significant milestone in the life of a seasoned legal practitioner, sports administrator, and distinguished public servant.
A proud son of Karu Local Government Area, Barr. Danladi was raised in a home where respect, loyalty, and service were non-negotiable values. These principles laid the foundation for a remarkable journey marked by diligence, humility, and leadership.
His professional career began in Plateau State in 1989, where he started his civil service journey as a State Counsel in the Ministry Of Justice, Plateau State before he transferred his Services to the Plateau State Water Board as a legal officer in 1992 where he rose to the position of chief legal officer. Upon creation of Nasarawa State out of Plateau State in 1996 under the leadership of the late Gen. Sani Abacha, he was deployed to the Nasarawa State Water Board, where he served as Secretary and later as Secretary/Legal Head of the Board.
A lover of sports and youth development, his passion for football led to his appointment by Governor Abdullahi Sule as Chairman of Nasarawa United Football Club. His tenure brought professionalism and integrity to the club, raising its profile both within and outside the state. He later rose to become the Chairman of the Club Owners Association of Nigeria, making meaningful contributions to the growth of football nationwide.
In the public service, Barr. Isaac Ahmadu Danladi attained the enviable position of Permanent Secretary , a peak achievement in the civil service ,serving in the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development with notable impact.
Upon his retirement, he ventured into politics with the aspiration to serve as Chairman of Karu Local Government Area. His loyalty and record of service soon paid off when, within three months of retirement, he was appointed as Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources by Governor Sule.
Shortly after assuming that office, a minor cabinet reshuffle saw him reassigned to the Ministry of Justice as the Honourable Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice. Since then, he has brought his vast legal experience to bear, improving judicial administration and restoring public confidence in the legal system of the state.
At 60, Barr. Isaac Ahmadu Danladi stands tall as a symbol of integrity, loyalty, and excellence , not only to the people of Karu, but to the entire state and nation. His contributions in law, sports, civil service, and politics have touched many lives and institutions.
As friends, family, colleagues, and the people of Nasarawa State celebrate his diamond jubilee, we salute a true gentleman, a bridge-builder, and a custodian of justice.
