The Nigerian college of Aviation Technology, Zaria and it's South Sudan counterpart, South Sudan Civil Aviation Authority have Signed memorandum of understanding on human capacity.
Receiving the South Sudanese Civil Aviation Authority delegation led by it's Director General, Hon John Woja Elina in his office in Zaria on Wednesday,the NCAT' Rector, Dr Danjuma A. Ismai'l appreciated the President of the South Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit for the College worthy of partnership and seek the Collaboration to build more human capacity for the South Sudanese aviation Industry through the College's various Programs which were certified and classified as centre of excellence with platinum status by ICAO.
The Rector assured the Partners of his College's readiness to provide them with the needed in both technical and managerial aspect for their aviation industry.
The Rector, Dr. Danjuma A. Ismaila appreciated the interest shown in the college’s programs, which are certified and classified as Center of Excellence with Platinum Status by ICAO.
He assured the South Sudan Civil Authority the readiness of his College to provide their training needs both technical and managerial aspect.
He said "Our training will offer you the competency required to launch your civil aviation sector for connectivity and to support the country potential in tourism development."
Earlier the Director General South Sudan Civil Aviation Authority and leader of the delegation,Hon John Woja Elina told the Rector that they were at the College to see things for them selves as it was certified as Center of excellence by ICAO.
Hon Elina pointed out that his his Authority was satisfied with the college’s programs and facilities, he added "we are ready to commence the training for both long term and short term in Nigeria particularly at NCAT."
