Lafia, June 24, 2024 – For the first time, Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic (IMAP), Lafia, is set to begin online accreditation of its programs in accordance with global standards.
This initiative is spearheaded by the Acting Rector, Dr. Nurudeen Mu'azu Maifata.
The accreditation workshop, aimed at educating academic staff on the intricacies of online program accreditation required by the National Board For Technical Education (NBTE), saw key presentations from department heads.
Yakubu Mohammad Rilwanu emphasized the importance of tracking and reporting the success of graduating students to the NBTE, while Umar Muka'il Nuhu discussed efficient methods for sharing resources and digitizing documents for assessment.
In his closing remarks, Registrar Zamani Habu Ibrahim expressed gratitude to participants for their dedication to the Self-Study Questionnaire (SSQ) Workshop.
This pivotal event marks a significant step towards enhancing the institution's academic standards and aligning with global accreditation practices.
