Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has revealed plans to institute a judicial panel of inquiry to scrutinize past governance practices in the state before his tenure.
This announcement was made during the swearing-in ceremony of Mr. Dagogo Israel Iboroma, SAN, as the new Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice at the Government House in Port Harcourt on Monday.
Governor Fubara emphasized the critical importance of addressing legal matters with courage and bravery, citing the need for decisive action on pressing issues.
In his address, the Governor charged the newly appointed Attorney-General with a significant responsibility in defending the state's interests and upholding legal integrity.

The Governor also criticized former officials, including a past Attorney-General, Prof. Zaccheaus Adangor, accusing them of undermining the government's efforts during their tenure.
