Nasarawa State Bilingual Education Project Praised for Efforts in Educating Out-of-School Children

The Nasarawa State Bilingual Education Project, spearheaded by Programme Manager Zainab Magaji, has expressed gratitude to the state government and the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Committee on NASIEC Multilateral Cooperation and Community Development for their support in educating out-of-school children. Magaji highlighted that the government is currently constructing accommodations in each senatorial zone to enhance the project's impact.

Speaking before the committee to review the project's 2024 budget performance, Magaji emphasized the importance of this initiative in providing a sense of belonging and educational opportunities to children who are out of school. 

She conveyed her appreciation for the prioritization of the project by the state government and the committee.

Hon. Jacob Ajegina Kudu, Chairman of the House Committee, commended the project’s efforts and assured continued support.

 He noted that the successful completion of the project would significantly reduce the number of children out of school and improve their future prospects.

"The state government’s commitment to building befitting accommodations for out-of-school children in each of the three senatorial zones is a commendable step towards addressing educational disparities,"

 Hon. Kudu remarked. He reiterated the committee's dedication to supporting the project to ensure its success and the betterment of the childre's education in Nasarawa State.
