Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the rule of law amidst the state's ongoing political tensions. Addressing supporters at the inauguration ceremony of the Emohua-Kalabari (Tema Junction) Road project in Asari-Toru Local Government Area, Fubara stressed the importance of non-violence and lawful conduct.

The event saw the senator representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District, Henry Seriake Dickson, inaugurate the 15.24km road project, which Governor Fubara highlighted as a significant achievement funded primarily by his administration. 

Fubara announced the project’s extension to Abonnema Town, aiming to boost connectivity and economic activities in the region.

Governor Fubara also addressed the issue of illegal bunkering and infrastructure vandalism, urging youths to seek lawful employment opportunities. He promised a high-level delegation to discuss these issues with community leaders to enhance local security and economic stability.

The Governor reaffirmed his administration's dedication to using state resources to improve living conditions and deliver impactful projects, emphasizing a government focused on inclusive development without favoritism.

Senator Dickson commended Governor Fubara for his achievements despite political distractions, noting the project's transformative impact on the region. 

The project, initially awarded by the previous administration and completed under Governor Fubara, underscores his commitment to fulfilling infrastructure promises for the benefit of Rivers State residents.
