NSE President Hosts PANA Holdings Chairman, Explores Collaboration on Organisational Development

The President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Engr. Ali Alimasuya Rabiu, FNSE, FASCE, FAEng, MFR, has hosted the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PANA Holdings, Dr. Daere Afonya-Akobo, during a courtesy visit to the National Engineering Centre.
The visit, which took place on Monday, September 21, 2026, provided an opportunity for both organisations to discuss areas of mutual interest, particularly organisational development and possible collaboration between the Nigerian Society of Engineers and PANA Holdings.
During the meeting, Engr. Rabiu and Dr. Afonya-Akobo held what was described as a productive discussion focused on strengthening institutional cooperation and exploring opportunities that could contribute to organisational growth and professional development.
The engagement underscored the importance of partnerships between professional engineering institutions and private-sector organisations in promoting innovation, capacity development and sustainable national development.
The courtesy visit also provided a platform for the two organisations to explore practical areas of collaboration that could strengthen their respective contributions to Nigeria's engineering and economic development.
