MAKINDE, DAURA, ONAWO, DANTALLE, OTHERS STORM LAFIA FOR APM NORTH CENTRAL TOWN HALL

The Presidential Candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Makinde, has led other national and state leaders of the party to Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital, for the North Central Town Hall Meeting.
The event, held on Monday at Ta’al Conference Hotel, Lafia, attracted the party’s Vice-Presidential Candidate, Daura, National Chairman Yusuf Mamman Dantalle, and other prominent party stakeholders.
Also in attendance was Senator Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo, the APM governorship candidate in Nasarawa State, alongside party leaders and faithful from Nasarawa, Bauchi and other parts of the North Central region.
Addressing the gathering, the APM presidential candidate, Makinde, called for unity among party members and greater grassroots participation in the political process.
Makinde said the town hall meeting was designed to bring the party’s leadership closer to its members and provide an avenue for direct interaction on issues affecting the people and communities across the North Central region.
He stressed the importance of responsible leadership, youth empowerment, economic development and policies that would respond to the needs of Nigerians.
The presidential candidate also urged party members to remain peaceful and united as the party continues its engagement with stakeholders and supporters across the country.
The presence of the party’s presidential and vice-presidential candidates, national chairman and the Nasarawa State governorship candidate made the Lafia gathering a major engagement involving party leaders and grassroots members.
Party faithful from Bauchi State were among those who attended the town hall, alongside members and supporters from Nasarawa State and other parts of the North Central geopolitical zone.
The meeting featured interactions between the national leadership, political candidates, state stakeholders and grassroots supporters, with discussions focusing on the party’s programmes, regional concerns and political participation.
