The call comes amid speculation that the name of Mr. Lazarus Tanko, widely regarded by his supporters as the legitimate APC candidate for the Lafia North State Constituency seat, may have been removed from the party's list.
Speaking with our correspondent, the Chairman of the APC Youth Forum, Ibrahim Agade, and the Secretary, Emmanuel Abeshi, expressed concern over the alleged development, urging the APC National Headquarters to uphold fairness and respect the outcome of the party's nomination process.
They maintained that Tanko enjoys broad grassroots support across the constituency and appealed to the party leadership not to undermine the aspirations of party members and supporters in Lafia North.
The youth leaders further called on the APC National Working Committee to promptly release the official list of governorship and State House of Assembly candidates to put an end to speculation and uncertainty.
They stressed that transparency in the candidate selection process would strengthen party unity and confidence ahead of the 2027 general elections.
As of the time of filing this report, the APC National Headquarters had not officially released the final list of its governorship and State House of Assembly candidates.
