AG Danladi Backs Nursing Students' Health, Unionism Summits, Commends Leadership Initiative

The Nasarawa State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Isaac Ahmadu Danladi, has pledged his full support for the forthcoming NASSA Health Summit and Unionism Summit being organized by the Students' Union Government (SUG) of the College of Nursing Sciences, Lafia.
Barr. Danladi gave the assurance when the SUG leadership paid him a courtesy visit at the Ministry of Justice in Lafia to familiarize themselves with him and brief him on the planned student programmes.
The Attorney General said he would wholeheartedly support the initiatives once fully informed of the plans, stressing the importance of collaboration in promoting educational and leadership development.
"As long as you make matters known to me and bring the facts before me, I will support whatever you are going to do," he said.
He commended the student leaders for the initiative, expressing confidence that other critical stakeholders in the state would also partner with them to ensure the success of the programmes.
Barr. Danladi noted that the essence of organizing summits is to create opportunities for learning, unlearning, relearning, knowledge sharing, and mentorship.
"The whole essence of a summit is that you learn, unlearn and relearn. You also share ideas, teach others and mentor people while also being mentored," he stated.
Earlier, the SUG President of the College of Nursing Sciences, Lafia, Comrade Addara Felix Okudo, said the delegation visited the Attorney General to familiarize themselves with him and commend his transformational leadership in the state's justice sector.
He described Barr. Danladi as a mentor and role model whose achievements continue to inspire many young people.
Comrade Okudo also formally informed the Attorney General of the association's preparations to host the Students' Week celebration, the NASSA Health Summit, and the Unionism Summit, while seeking his support and participation.
In response, Barr. Danladi assured the students of his readiness to attend the engagements and contribute to their success.
Other members of the delegation included Lagi Jery Timothy, Sani Rasida Muhammad, Bala Shekwoga Ann, and Gambo Aisha Adamu Onyuwole.
