The Governorship Candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Nasarawa State, Sarkin Da Waki Maitutan Wamba, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah and the people of the state on the occasion of the 2026
Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
In a Sallah message released to journalists, the SDP governorship flag bearer urged Muslims to reflect on the virtues of sacrifice, obedience, patience, and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (AS).
He further called on residents of Nasarawa State to use the festive period to strengthen bonds of unity, promote peaceful coexistence, and support collective efforts towards the progress and development of the state and Nigeria at large.
The candidate also appealed for prayers for lasting peace, improved security, and socio-economic prosperity across the state.
He wished all Muslim faithful a peaceful, joyful, and hitch-free Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
