IMAP Rector Hands Over Renovated, Furnished Sabbatical Apartment to Visiting Academic Staff

The Rector of Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic (IMAP), Lafia, Associate Professor Nurudeen Mu'azu Maifata, has officially handed over the keys to the institution's newly renovated and fully furnished sabbatical apartment to academic staff on sabbatical at the Polytechnic.
Speaking during the handover ceremony on Monday, the Rector said the project was undertaken to address the accommodation challenges often faced by lecturers and researchers serving the institution on sabbatical appointments.
Assoc. Prof. Maifata explained that providing comfortable accommodation would create a more conducive environment for teaching, research and other academic activities, thereby enhancing productivity and promoting academic excellence.
He reaffirmed the Polytechnic's commitment to improving staff welfare and providing the necessary facilities to support quality education and institutional development.
The newly renovated apartment is expected to offer visiting scholars a comfortable and conducive living environment throughout their stay at the institution.
