Governor Abdullahi Sule has given his blessing and words of encouragement to Dr. Faisal Shuaibu following his decision to contest for the Nasarawa West Senatorial District seat under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Dr. Shuaibu, who recently purchased the party’s nomination and expression of interest forms, received the governor’s support shortly after presenting the documents, signaling strong backing from the state’s political leadership.
The development comes days after Dr. Shuaibu stepped down from the governorship race and declared support for Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, who has been endorsed as the preferred candidate to succeed Governor Sule in 2027.
Observers say the governor’s endorsement further underscores the role of party loyalty and consensus in shaping the emerging political landscape within the APC in Nasarawa State.
