Nasarawa Attorney General, Justice Ministry Mourn with Ede Family; Family Expresses Gratitude

The Honourable Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Nasarawa State, Barrister Isaac Danladi, has commiserated with the family of Barrister Y. Y. Ede, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, over the death of his son.
Acting on the directive of the Attorney General, the Director of Administration and Supplies, Mustapha Isa, led a delegation of directors, legal officers, and staff of the Ministry of Justice on a condolence visit to the bereaved family.
Responding on behalf of the family, Alhaji Sule Ogwola and Alhaji Abubakar Abona expressed profound appreciation to the Attorney General for the compassionate gesture and for sending a delegation to identify with them in their moment of grief.
They described the visit as a source of comfort and encouragement.
The family also thanked the leadership and staff of the Ministry of Justice for their prayers, support, and continued solidarity, noting that the ministry has stood by them despite recent administrative postings following Barrister Ede’s appointment as Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources.
In the same vein, the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Barrister Justina A. Alu, expressed deep sympathy with the Ede family, describing the loss as painful and praying for God to grant them the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Barrister Alu noted that the ministry shares in the family’s grief and will continue to support them during the period of mourning.
