FOI SUIT: NASARAWA AG DANLADI TO LEAD THREE STATE COUNSELS AS CASE COMES UP TOMORROW
The Nasarawa State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Isaac Ahmadu Danladi, leads three state counsels to the Federal High Court, Lafia, in a Freedom of Information (FOI) suit filed against the Nasarawa State Scholarship Board.
The suit, FHC/LF/CS/1/2026, instituted by Mallam Ayuba Umar under the Freedom of Information Act, 2011, is scheduled to come up on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.
Court records show that the Respondent, through the Nasarawa State Ministry of Justice, entered a Memorandum of Conditional Appearance, reserving the right to challenge the competence of the suit.
Barr. Danladi is appearing alongside E.U. Aliyu, Esq, Deputy Director, and state counsels Raymond Anzaku Umaru and Zainab Nagogo.
The Federal High Court, Lafia, is expected to take preliminary steps in the matter at the next sitting.
