The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, PhD, has commended the management of the Assembly for their giant contributions to effective legislative business and the overall success of the House.
Rt. Hon. Jatau, who is the number three citizen of the state, also praised the strong synergy between lawmakers and the administrative leadership of the Assembly, describing it as a key factor driving efficient lawmaking and service delivery. 

He urged all parties to sustain the existing cooperation for the continued progress of the legislature.
The Speaker made these remarks while hosting members of the Assembly management during a New Year and thank-you visit at his residence in Garaku, Kokona Local Government Area, on Friday.

The management team was led by the Deputy Clerk of the House, Mr. Paul Okugya.

While receiving his guests, Rt. Hon. Jatau thanked the management for their diligence, commitment, and professionalism in the discharge of their duties, noting that their efforts have greatly eased the work of lawmakers and enhanced the overall performance of the Assembly.
He further commended the Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN) for its resilience and struggle, which culminated in the granting of financial autonomy to the legislature, describing the achievement as a milestone in strengthening legislative independence.

The Speaker also assured the management and staff of his continued commitment to improving their welfare, stressing that staff motivation remains critical to effective legislative administration.
Earlier, Mr. Paul Okugya said the visit was to felicitate with the Speaker on the New Year, appreciate his consistent support for Assembly staff, and thank him for always identifying with them during moments of grief, celebration, and other significant life events.

He particularly acknowledged the Speaker’s passion for improved staff welfare, describing it as a source of encouragement and motivation to the workforce of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly.
