The wife of Speaker House of Representatives, Hajiya Fatima Abbass Tajudeen has donated food, meat, Solar Facility, Cash among to 500 Christians families across Kaduna state to celebrate this year's Christmas.
Flagging off distribution of items in Zaria on Sundays as palliative and or support said that her foundation's support to the Christian community would promote inclusiveness and sense of belonging particularly during moment of joy.
Her words "The gesture was part of her foundation's efforts to support Christians brothers and sisters, the less privileged and needy to enable them celebrate the festive period with ease.
"it was also aimed at fostering unity, brotherliness and tolerance among diverse residents in kaduna state irrespective of any affiliation."
Hajya Fatima noted that the foundation's initiative had earlier provider free healthcare services, scholarships, education support, vocational training, especially for women, and distribution of food and financial assistance during other festive periods.
She pointed out stated that rec
her foundation prioritize Sallah and Christmas period in providing support to allow families enjoy the celebration in amusement.
The Speakers further said that her fashion to alleviate poverty and empower the vulnerable individuals necessitated her unwavering commitment to do more for the overall welfare and progress of the society.
Some beneficiaries, including Chief John Jatau Garkuwan Bajju, representative of CAN in Zaria, Reverend Kiletus Dawiya, and Ladi Abubakar, expressed their gratitude for the kind gesture.
They also prayed God to reward the Speaker's wife and her husband, Dr Abbas Tajuddeen, abundantly and fulfill their dreams and aspirations.
