Speaking at the passing out parade of 89 Regular Recruit Intake of School as Reviewing Office and Special Guest of Honour at the event held at Hamma Kin Parade Ground of the School on Saturday, the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shuaib warned the young soldiers to be disciplined and courageous.
He pointed out that as they passed out now they formed of the Nation's solution to the challenges of Terrorism and Insurgency for that whenever and wherever they were deployed their actions must reflect the 6 Month rigorous training they received from Depot Nigerian Army Zaria as 89 Regular Recruit Intake.
"You must display courage in the face adversity some of you will be given responsibilities as you rise through the ranks. While these responsibilities will take different forms , a commonality or tasks in the is that your actions collectively determine life or otherwise of you comrades.
He said "I therefore charged you to stand by the oarth you taken and discharge your duties without forgetting our core value of discipline, loyalty, integrity, selfless service, courage and respect for others.
"Again during the course of duties you will be faced with challenges that might initially seen unsurmountable but I assure you that you have been prepared for anything the world throw at you.
"However, you need remain focused and remember your training because on darkest moment courage, professionalism resilience will form the compass that will lead you to finest hours in such times I want to understand that you are never alone because you will always stand together with Comrades, Friends and brothers in arms in this unique Society that is Nigerian Army"
The COAS therefore thanked President Ahmed Bola Tinubu for approving another Depot Nigerian Army at Abskaleke and the supports to Nigerian Army that brought about success in the fight against terrorism, Insurgency among others in the Country.
He equally appreciate Kaduna State Governor, Senator Mallam Uba Sani for his efforts in the area of security in the state in the interest of people of the state
General Shuaib commended the commandant of the School, Major General Ahmadu
Bello Muhammed for his leadership style to that about development, hard work and dedication to duties among the Officers and Soldiers in the formation.
