The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Danladi Jatau, has expressed confidence that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will continue to grow stronger and remain in power beyond the 2027 general elections.

Dr. Jatau stated this when he hosted the 13 APC Local Government Chairmen from across the state in his office in Lafia, saying that, by God’s grace, Governor Abdullahi Sule will hand over power to another APC governor at the end of his tenure in 2027.

The Speaker, who described Governor Sule as a God-sent leader, said his administration’s developmental achievements have continued to attract opposition members, including lawmakers, to the APC in Nasarawa State.

“This is a father-and-son visitation, and I sincerely appreciate you for commending our efforts in the House and for acknowledging our strong synergy with His Excellency, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, to ensure his success,” Jatau said.

“As I always say, Governor Sule is God-sent to the people of Nasarawa State. Because of his performance, more people are joining our party, and we are proud of his leadership,” he added.

Dr. Jatau reaffirmed the readiness of the legislature to continue supporting the executive arm for the unity and progress of the APC, urging members and stakeholders to remain united and focused ahead of future elections.

He also called on citizens to keep praying and supporting Governor Sule to end his tenure successfully in 2027.

Earlier, the leader of the delegation and APC Chairman of Lafia Local Government Area, Hon. Umar Aliyu Galadima, said the visit was to strengthen understanding and collaboration between the party chairmen and lawmakers.

Galadima reaffirmed the total loyalty of all the local government chairmen to Governor Sule, describing him as the leader of the APC in the state.

> “Our loyalty to His Excellency, Engineer A. A. Sule, is 100 per cent. Whatever he directs us to do, we will do.

We remain committed to his leadership and to the success of the APC at all levels,” Galadima said.
