The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State, Hon. Dr. Aliyu Bello, has declared that he has forgiven those who criticized and insulted him on social media, describing such actions as part of leadership challenges.

Dr. Bello made the remark when he received Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, who officially returned to the APC at the Government House in Lafia.

According to the State APC Chairman, true leadership comes with criticism, and those who occupy such positions must be prepared to face both praise and misunderstanding.

“As a leader, people will accuse you wrongly for what they do not know. I have forgiven all those who insulted or criticized me unfairly,” Dr. Bello stated.

He welcomed Senator Wadada back to what he described as his political home, noting that the lawmaker had merely gone in search of “greener pastures” but has now returned to the fold of progressives.

“Senator Wadada went for greener pastures and has now come back home — the APC,” Dr. Bello added.

The event, which took place in Lafia, was attended by Governor Abdullahi Sule, top government officials, and party faithful, who applauded the reconciliation as a major step toward strengthening the APC ahead of future political engagements.
