The Director General of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), Dr. Silas Ali Agara, has received in audience Hon. Lumumba Auke, who recently returned from a Chinese-sponsored training.

Hon. Lumumba participated in a two-week seminar for Political Party Cadres from Bridge and Road Initiative (BRI) countries, which took place in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, China.

His visit was to present his certificate of participation to Dr. Agara, who facilitated the trip to China.

Hon. Lumumba, who visited Dr. Agara at his office in Abuja for the appreciation, stated, "I visited my mentor and leader, His Excellency Silas Ali Agara, Deputy Governor, Nasarawa State (2015-2019), to show him my certificate of participation at the seminar for Political Party Cadres from BRI Countries, which took place in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, China. His Excellency was 100% instrumental to my participation. Hence, my appreciation goes to him wholly."

Responding, the Director General of NDE, Dr. Silas Ali Agara, expressed satisfaction with Hon. Lumumba's performance during the seminar and for making the state and the nation proud.

He reaffirmed his commitment to empowerment and human capacity development of the people of Nasarawa State and beyond through the National Directorate of Employment.

He urged the beneficiary to leverage the knowledge gained to positively impact the political development of his immediate community and the state at large.

It would be recalled that Dr. Silas Ali Agara had previously facilitated similar training for two media professionals from the state, God'spower Ede and Ibrahim Abdul, who participated in a two-week Omni Media Seminar for English-speaking African countries at Zhejiang Normal University, Jinhua, China in November 2024.

Additionally, three medical doctors from Akwanga, Nasarawa Eggon, and Wamba Local Government Areas of Nasarawa State are set to partake in another round of capacity building in China, courtesy of Dr. Silas Ali Agara.
