The Nasarawa State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Isaac Danladi, on Friday joined Governor Abdullahi Sule and other top government officials at the commissioning of the newly built Central Mosque in Dari, Kokona Local Government Area.

The mosque was constructed and donated to the Muslim faithful by the State Commissioner for Education, Dr. John Dogara Mamman, in his country home.

Barr. Danladi described the project as a remarkable gesture that promotes peace, religious harmony, and unity among the people of the state.

He commended Dr. Mamman for going beyond religious boundaries to provide a place of worship for Muslims, despite being a Christian himself.

The Attorney General stressed that the gesture was an example of leadership rooted in inclusivity and service to humanity.

The commissioning ceremony attracted dignitaries including former APC National Chairman, Sen. Abdullahi Adamu, the Emir of Lafia, Hon. Justice Sidi Bage I (Rtd), Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Labaran Shuaibu Magaji, and several commissioners.

Governor Sule, while commissioning the mosque, applauded Dr. Mamman for his magnanimity, describing the project as a legacy that would endure for generations.

The Sangarin Dari, traditional ruler of the community, assured that the mosque would be properly maintained for the benefit of the faithful.
