Izala Collects Over N170m From 2025 Sallah Ram Skins Nationwide

The Jama’atu Izalatul Bid’ah Wa Iqamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS), popularly known as Izala, has realized the sum of N170,974,512.50 from the sale of ram skins collected during the 2025 Eid-el-Adha festival.

The announcement was made on Saturday in Kaduna during the national council meeting of the group, held at the JNI conference hall.

Receiving the report, the National Chairman of the group, Sheikh Dr. Abdullahi Bala Lau, commended the committee in charge of coordinating the sales, led by Malam Lamara Azare, for their transparency and accountability.

According to the committee’s report, contributions came from Izala branches across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Kaduna State topped the list with N23 million, followed by Kebbi with N21.1 million, and Sokoto with N18.4 million. Other leading contributors included Bauchi (N12.1 million), Zamfara (N10.5 million), and Adamawa (N10.1 million).

Niger State realized N9.5 million, Katsina (N8.4 million), Taraba (N7.7 million), and the FCT Abuja (N6.2 million).

Other states’ contributions include Nasarawa (N5.9 million), Kano (N5.5 million), Jigawa (N4.9 million), Gombe (N4.8 million), Lagos (N4.4 million), Borno (N3 million), and Kogi (N2.8 million).

Oyo, Plateau, Kwara, Benue, Yobe, Ogun, Rivers, Delta, Ondo, Enugu, Edo, Osun, Anambra, Bayelsa, Ebonyi, Abia, Akwa Ibom, Imo, and Cross River also made varying contributions.

The total amount realized from all the states stood at N170,974,512.50
